West Virginia Botanic Garden Day

The West Virginia Botanic Garden is proud to celebrate the 6th Annual West Virginia Botanic Garden Day, officially designated by the West Virginia Legislature as the Saturday before Mother’s Day each year. This special day recognizes the Garden’s growing role as a place of beauty, education, conservation, and community for our state. In 2026, we are delighted to mark the occasion in a very special way. The Garden has been selected as a host site for the Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia Tour, a three-month program by DreamWorks Animation and KidsGardening that intertwines the wonder of the new Fairylandia setting featured in the hit Netflix series with hands-on enrichment opportunities at botanical gardens across the country.

This is a timed-ticket event, and spaces are limited. Families will have the opportunity to participate in timed meet-and-greet sessions with Gabby, enjoy hands-on activities in a themed family activity area, and explore the spring beauty of the Garden. This will be a timed-ticket event with limited attendance per session. Parking registration will be required for all vehicles. We look forward to welcoming your family and Gabby to the WVBG!
