What is Workiz’s Custom Fields feature?
Custom Fields let you tailor Workiz to your business needs by adding personalized fields to jobs, leads, clients, invoices, equipment, and more. Whether it’s gate codes, how many steps there are to get into the unit, pet info, or internal tags — you decide what data matters most.
These fields live inside your account and workflows, so your team can see the info they need when they need it, from the office, truck or job site, all without extra clicks or scattered notes.
How do Custom Fields work?
You can create Custom Fields directly inside your Workiz settings. Choose from field types like text, number, dropdowns, checkboxes, dates, and more. Then assign them to the areas of your account where you want the info to show.
You can make fields required, searchable or hidden from certain users. This gives you full control over the data you collect and how your team uses it.
What kinds of info can I track with Custom Fields?
Anything your team needs to do the job right and offer a high level of service.
Some examples:
- Gate codes or alarm instructions
- Pet names or special requests
- Warranty or serial number fields
