Have your child join us Sunday mornings for Kid services, which include worship, Bible teachings, games, activities, and more! It is here that we aim to build a foundation of faith for kids from birth to 5th grade.

TUESDAY NIGHTS

7PM in the Kids Building

4th and 5th graders are invited to join us for Club45 on Tuesdays nights from 7pm-8:30pm in B205. Every week we have a game, worship, teaching and small groups! Tuesdays are a great way for kids to grow deeper in their faith with other kids their age!

OPERATION VBS 2026

June 15 - 19

The mission for VBS this summer, should you choose to accept it, is to go undercover for kindness! Kids entering Kindergarten - 5th grade in the Fall of 2026, are invited to Operation VBS! Join us for a week of fun with games, worship, skits, small group activities, crafts, and more! Through all the fun, kids will learn more about the kindness of Jesus and what it ultimately means to be undercover operatives for kindness. Time to make a difference starting June 15th!

KIDS ON CAMPUS FAQS

What should we do and where should we go if it is our first time?

For first-time families, we want to welcome you at our "Welcome Stand" located on the lower patio in between the A Building (Community Center) and the B Building (WACC Kids Building). It is here that we can get things ready for you before you drop off your kids. We will have you fill out a registration card, get your child's name tags printed, and show you where to go next.

If our welcome stand is not out for whatever reason, come inside one of the WACC Kids entrances of the Kids Building and we will do all the above at one of our check-in stations.

Do I need to register my children for Sunday Services?

Where do I drop off and pick up my child from Kids Church?

How will I be notified during service should my child need my attention?

Notification depends on the age group.

For Elementary kids, the Kids Ministry Team will notify you via text message if there is an issue or an emergency. Please keep your phone on your person and set to vibrate during the worship gathering.

For Early Childhood and Nursery kids, you will receive a pager when you drop them off. It will be one pager per family. Those with multiple kids will receive only one pager. The pager will vibrate when the Kids Ministry Team needs to connect with you. If your pager goes off, please come right away to where you dropped off your kids.

What are the bathroom policies for volunteers in WACC Kids?

The safety of your kids and of our volunteers is of the utmost importance. In taking kids to the bathroom, our volunteers follow a list of steps to ensure everything is above board for your children. Our volunteers are trained to never be alone in the restroom with kids and to avoid situations that would question integrity. If your child is in need of bathroom assistance at any point during WACC Kids programming, our volunteers and staff are trained to help as needed.

How does diaper or clothes changing work?

Where can I take my kids to the bathroom? Are there changing tables available?

The bathrooms located in the Kids Building by the stairs, both upstairs and downstairs, are strictly for kids during services on Sunday. Only volunteers are allowed to assist children in these restrooms.

If a parent wishes to take their children to the bathroom in the Kids Building before or after service, they must go to one of designated "volunteer" restrooms. These are single use restrooms that all have a changing table. We have 4 of these restrooms located throughout the Kids Building. They are located in the following rooms:

Nursery lobby entrance
B101 (downstairs "Quiet" Room)
B107 (downstairs Volunteer Room),
B207 (upstairs "Quiet" Room)

Restrooms in the Worship Center and Community Center lobbies are also places you can take your children to the restroom. These restrooms have changing tables.

How can I serve in the Children's Ministry?

We are always in need of loving and capable leaders to be with our kids at the 9AM, 10:30AM and 12 PM services. We have a variety of volunteer roles from the Nursery to Elementary that include small group leaders, worship leaders, large group hosts, greeters, tech booth leaders, storytellers, and more! Whether you like to serve directly with kids or more behind the scenes, we have a ministry role for you!

What ages can kids get baptized?

While there is no official age limit, we do recommend that children be in 3rd grade or older for baptisms. We want kids to understand the meaning of baptism before they decide to get in the water and older kids are more likely to have a better understanding.

Additionally, we recommend kids attend one of our Kids Baptism classes that we have throughout the year. Registration for the next upcoming class can be found below.

What are Child Dedications?

Child Dedications is a practice where parents are invited to present their children to the Lord. The focus is on the children, whom the parents aim to raise up in the family of Christ. The children are prayed for and given a blessing by the whole WACC community.

We ask any families interested in Child Dedications to register for the next upcoming Child Dedication Class. Registration for the next class can be found below.
