The Nocturnal Creative Theme Park, a new and unique way of spending a night out. Us By Night is a three-night festival for visual culture, built from scratch inside a concrete warehouse the size of a football field. It is a massive playground featuring two performance stages, a club, and a nightmarket filled with play. We bring together over 40 international artists and thousands of visitors to create an atmosphere overflowing with energy and imagination.
Our stage hosts a diverse mix of storytellers from the worlds of art, graphic design, illustration, photography, 3D, film, architecture, fashion, and digital culture. It is not a classroom; it is about sharing personal journeys and life stories—sometimes vulnerable, always intended to awaken the lust to create again. We intentionally blend diverse disciplines to challenge visitors to find inspiration beyond their own medium. This cross-pollination fosters an environment where artists from around the world connect and spark new ideas.
Every detail at Us by Night is designed to make you feel comfortable and empowered to be your best self. Through playful interactions—from retro gaming to interactive art installations and dancing—we encourage you to hang out, have fun, and meet the community. The Main Stage is exactly what it should be—a black box built for pure focus and total immersion. Stadium is more casual, blending seamlessly into the Nightmarket. Both feature a massive, ultra-crisp screen: every detail sharp, every idea amplified. No distractions—just pure storytelling and visual art—plus, drinks on demand!
If there’s one thing that truly sets Us by Night apart, it’s the Nightmarket—our festival’s beating heart. Chaotic, noisy, vibrant, and full of surprises. A neon-lit playground where you can challenge friends to a ping-pong battle, beat the high score in the arcade, or explore our curated art exhibitions. Go wild on our massive wheatpasting wall—an ever-evolving collage of graphic work and visual statements. Taste delicious local food, unwind with a massage, get a permanent souvenir at the tattoo shop, or wander through APF’s Poster Festival art gallery. The Nightmarket also houses our brand-new second stage: Stadium.
When midnight arrives, the festival transforms again. The central area evolves into the XYZ Club, an audiovisual rave beneath a colossal 6-meter-wide disco ball. We invite world-class DJs to join forces with legendary lighting maestros Arf & Yes, crafting a mesmerizing dreamscape that ends the night on the dancefloor.
