Haiku author Tré

Bio

Tré is a haiku author, fantasy writer, editor of the Wolf Twin Review, and Massurreal artist endorsed by The Museum For Massurrealist Art (Berlin, Germany). While wearing pajamas, supervised by an articulate cat, and fueled by copious amounts of jasmine tea, they weave tales from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

With publishing partner Thomas L. Vaultonburg, Tré owns and operates Wolf Twin Books. The first edition of their haiku art book, Moonscape, is in the (University of Arizona) Poetry Center’s library collection.

Tré's work has appeared (or is forthcoming) in many publications, including The Washington Post, Asahi Shimbun Haikuist Network, Cattails, Haiku Dialogue, Haiku Shack Magazine, HillRag, The LUNA, Only Human, Pure Haiku, The Solitary Daisy, Tiny Prophecies, Wales Haiku Journal, and 5-7-5 Haiku Journal.

Awards: Prompt 2 Winner for the first Prune Juice Senryu Slam (February 2026), Pure Haiku Curator's Choice (March 2026), Winner of the University of Arizona Poetry Center's 7th Annual Haiku Hike literary competition (March 2026).

Epic Fantasy Books: Bohowler’s Oil & Glass is in production—it’s the first of seven books in Tré’s bewitching Allspell Septology series.
