Purposes of processing and their legal basis

Performance of a contract or pre-contractual negotiations

We use the data you provide to us to contact you back with a response to your requests for the purposes of performing the contract, processing your orders, for the purposes of website creation, programming, and training.

All personal data is processed in a lawful and transparent manner and only appropriate, relevant, and necessary data in relation to the purpose of processing is required.

Compliance with legal obligations

We also process your personal data because the law tells us to do so. For example, under the Accounting Act, we are required to keep tax documents – invoices, on which your personal data may appear.

Personal data processed for the purpose of sending newsletters that draw attention to newly published articles on our website or contain advice, tips, and tutorials relevant to the WordPress content management system. We usually send our newsletters 1-2 times a month.

If you have concluded a contract with us, we are entitled to send you our newsletters for a period of 3 years, unless you refuse this either directly by clicking in the newsletter or by sending an email to our address.
You can also subscribe to our newsletters. In such a case, you can grant us consent to the processing of personal data. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Even after the expiration of the period for which you consented to the processing of your personal data or in the event of withdrawal of consent, we are not obliged to delete all your personal data; we may keep those where our legitimate interest or the law allows it. If you withdraw your consent, it does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data before its withdrawal.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service, which may be located abroad. The privacy policy of the Akismet anti-spam service can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

Contact forms (legitimate interest)

On our website, you will find contact forms used to inquire about our services or to send a question or other information. These forms collect personal data only for the purpose of contacting you back with a reply.

Cookies (legitimate interest, consent)

For the functioning of the website, we use cookies, which are small files that our site saves to your device using the browser. Cookies can record certain specific information from your visits to our website. We can divide cookies into essential cookies, analytical cookies, and marketing cookies.
So-called essential cookies are necessary to ensure the operation of our site. Consent is not required for the use of these cookies; it is our legitimate interest that the site runs properly.
The use of so-called analytical cookies is also our legitimate interest. Cookies falling into this category are used mainly for anonymous tracking of traffic and user activity on the site. Thanks to this, we can monitor what customers like and improve our services.
Marketing cookies allow, for example, remarketing. Thanks to this, we can offer you our goods through targeted advertising. However, we need your consent for this.

You can also use the website in a mode that does not allow the use of cookies, and therefore we will not be able to collect data about your behavior on the site. You can set this mode within your internet browser, or you can object to such collection based on our legitimate interest under Art. 21 GDPR. This objection can be raised by sending it to our contact address. We will then evaluate the objection without delay, but no later than one month after receiving it.
However, please note that if you refuse cookies or object to their processing, the site may not be displayed 100% correctly.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If we conclude a contract together, we keep your personal data for longer than just the duration of our cooperation until the delivery of goods and provision of services, for reasons such as withdrawal from the contract, complaints, claiming damages, and others. According to legal regulations governing accounting, we are obliged to keep tax documents for a period of 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the performance took place. Therefore, we cannot delete your personal data immediately after the end of our cooperation.

However, you can be sure that we always process your personal data only for the necessary time and to a reasonable extent. The retention period for your specific personal data is then determined according to the following logic:

  • for the duration of the contract between us;
  • for the time strictly necessary to protect our rights and for the time strictly necessary to determine, exercise or defend legal claims (up to 4 years);
  • for the duration of our possible other legitimate interests (up to 4 years);
  • for the period determined by legal regulations (up to 10 years).

We may also pass your personal data to public authorities if it is in our interest or if they ask us to do so.

What are your rights?

You have all the rights granted to you by legal regulations. You can ask us to tell you what personal data we process about you, and if you ask us to do so, we must also allow you access to it. You can ask us to correct incorrect data or complete incomplete data. Under certain conditions, we are also obliged to delete your personal data or restrict its processing if you ask us to do so. If you suspect that your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you have the option to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.
In addition to the rights listed above, you also have the right to object if we process your personal data based on our legitimate interest. This objection can be raised by sending it to our contact address or by email. We will then evaluate the objection without delay, but no later than one month after receiving it.
