LYMPHALETICS - Register Here
The BLS Children with Lymphoedema Special Interest Group (BLSCLSIG) was formed in 2010 with the aim of improving service provision for children and young people (CYP) with lymphoedema.
The group is made up of clinicians from around the UK who manage CYP with lymphoedema as part of their caseload, including representation from the two specialist centres in the UK, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust, which enables us to have involvement from consultants and geneticists. Some of our members are proud to have achieved National Awards in this field of expertise.
LYMPHALETICS is a biennial event aimed at promoting exercise and movement for children and young people (CYP) with lymphoedema. The 7th event is planned for Saturday 12th September 2026 at Bracknell Leisure Centre, RG12 9SE. The day is fun, inclusive, very hands on as well as educational and an opportunity to network – aiming to give additional insight into growing up with lymphoedema and how obstacles can be overcome. Key compression hosiery manufacturers will be on hand as well as invaluable Q&A sessions with our consultants. Some older children who have grown up with lymphoedema have been invited as special guests to tell their stories. It’s a family event and it would be great to see you! To register, please click Here
