The official Yolopark YouTube account has uploaded a promotional highlight showcase video of their upcoming AMK Series Beast Wars Megatron. 

Blackarachnia is part of Yolopark’s AMK line of easy-to-build and affordable model kits (no die-cast or LED lights, different from the AMK PRO line). The video shows Blackarachnia’s finishing and paint apps, poseability of her legs and spider legs, ab-crunch and her light-piping gimmick.

Other figure expected in this wave is Beast Wars Megatron. Wave 1 AMK Beast Wars Optimus Primal & Dinobot are ready to order now via Yolopark website for $29.99 USD each.

TFNation makes another guest announcement: writer and artist Nick Roche.

Roche has haunted the Transformers scene from the Emerald Isle since the early days of the UK fandom; officially, he has been involved since the days of IDW Publishing and the Spotlight series (including Shockwave, Hot Rod, Kup, Hardhead, and Megatron). He is best known for his co-authoring of the Wreckers Saga (Last Stand, Sins, and Requiem), and the final IDW comics: Last Bot Standing.

As Robert Kirkman previewed earlier this year with Rob Liefeld, Skybound’s “best in class” Blind Bag program delivered a new addition to the Energon Universe earlier this week: ROM.

“Nothing is more exciting to me than an unexpected comic drop! Getting to a store and finding out a brand-new book exists is just the coolest thing. The only thing that could make it better… is if it was ROM!” exclaimed Robert Kirkman. “ROM is such an iconic character with a rich history spanning decades. He’s been a constant request for the Energon Universe. Getting to develop him for the Energon Universe alongside my pal Lorenzo De Felici was an absolute blast and I can’t wait for fans to see our long-range plans for the character! ROM! WOO!!” Fans can expect to see more of ROM and his alien companion ‘Carpet’ as the search for Dire Wraiths continues in the coming issues of Void Rivals.

TFNation makes another guest announcement: legendary writer Simon Furman.

Furman has been a longstanding contributor to the Transformers franchise since his first Marvel UK, and later Marvel US stories from the 1980s; a continuity he would finalise decades later with IDW’s Transformers: ReGeneration One. Away from the main G1 continuity, Furman played a key role in Dreamwave’s The War Within, Armada and Energon comics. He was also instrumental in beginning the IDW reboot with the Infiltration storyline, and numerous others to follow. In recent years, Furman has served as a consultant on Skybound’s massive Transformers Compendium sets! Speaking of massive we simply cannot escape one of Furman’s recent triumphs – breathing life into Powerplex, the gargantuan Battersea Titan! Who knows, maybe there’ll even be some large news from the Transformers: Battersea Power Station team at a convention this summer?

We have quite an unexpected rumor to share with you related to the Transformers live-action universe. According to The Wrap website, Jason Fuchs has been tapped to write an untitled “Transformers” script for Paramount and Hasbro.

According to the article Mr. Fuchs, who was one of the showrunners of supernatural horror television series It: Welcome To Derry, would work on a Rise Of The Beasts direct sequel. It’s good to remark that this movie would be unrelated to the supposedly Transformers x G.I. Joe crossover project.
