TEXTILE INTERSECTIONS is a multi-day conference, doctoral consortium, and exhibition organized by the Interdisciplinary Textiles Special Interest Group of the Design Research Society.
Textile Intersections 2026 will be hosted by the Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London and will take place in South Kensington, London, UK.
- Wednesday, 16 September – Doctoral Consortium
- Thursday – Friday, 17-18 September – Single-track conference with paper presentations
- An exhibition of accepted works will be held alongside the conference with the exact dates to be confirmed.
The Call for Papers is now open. The calls for participation in the Doctoral Consortium and works to be shown in the exhibition will be forthcoming.
We are currently looking for volunteers who would like to contribute to the Organising Committee being chaired by Becky Stewart.
