TECH IN CONSTRUCTION

23. - 25.06.26

The young companies present their solutions across the entire value chain of the real estate and construction industry. For the sixth time, the focus is on digital innovations that bring forward-looking processes and technologies closer to the construction industry. Networking and mutual exchange create a win-win situation for both sides, which is intended to promote digitalization in construction.

VIEW

The focus areas for 2026

  • In order to take a holistic view of construction, PropTech startups will once again be given their own section alongside ConTech startups.
  • This complements the existing range of services with the four established core areas of process, support, smart, and energy.
  • Innovations in residential construction remain a highly topical issue, which will be explored in greater depth as part of TECH IN CONSTRUCTION and ultimately reflected in all key topics.
  • As well as the increased need for skilled workers
INDUSTRIALIZATION/PRE-PRODUCTION

Prefabrication is increasingly the focus of the construction-related transformation and also characterizes TECH IN CONSTRUCTION. Modular, serial and elemented construction and renovation show how industrialized processes shorten construction times, reduce costs, increase quality and enable much-needed efficiency.

AUTOMATION/ROBOTICS

Digital control and automated processes are increasingly taking on repetitive or precision-critical tasks, increasing speed as well as quality and relieving the burden on specialists. Startups are driving this development and making automation a central component of the future construction industry.

SUSTAINABILITY/DECARBONISATION

From CO2-reduced materials to energy-efficient construction methods to circular concepts, every construction project is becoming more of a focus on climate-relevant requirements. These approaches reduce emissions, conserve resources and increase the future viability of buildings and infrastructure. Startups are driving the transformation with new materials, digital tools and innovative concepts, making decarbonization a decisive driver of the transformation in construction.

SUPPORT

Lead-Generation and eCommerce in construction, together with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) serves the customer communication that is shown in this segment.

ENERGY

Building stock are major energy producers. Therefore energy efficient construction and renewable energies in buildings are growing in importance. Furthermore, sustainable building materials from the sectors of CleanTech and GreenTech will also be presented in this segment.

SMART

From smart home with sensors in intelligent building technology to smart city and the evaluation of big data to predictive maintenance and robotics.

Program 2026

The full program has not yet been determined.

Why TECH IN CONSTRUCTION

The topics

  • Solutions that simplify and streamline the construction process help the construction industry to become more efficient.
  • Marketing and sales are also important for the construction industry. The startups in this focus show how to win new customers through lead generation.
  • The building stock produces a large part of the energy. Therefore, energy-efficient construction and renewable energies in buildings are becoming increasingly important.
