MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

My work focuses on pharmacogenomics and pharmacokinetics of substance use disorders. In the cannabis space, for example, this has involved collaborations with scientists testing different cannabis formulations, using LC/MS to examine the plasma/urinary concentrations of THC, CBD and their metabolites, as well as the products (e.g. vapes) themselves.

We have also interrogated genetic variants in the endocannabinoid system, for example the influence of FAAH genotypes in different CURB imaging studies and on risk for cannabis use disorder (CUD).
