Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) is a global surveillance network that generates and shares accurate information on causes of stillbirths and child deaths in high-mortality settings in Africa and South Asia. CHAMPS teams work quickly to identify deaths and use innovative diagnostic methods to investigate the causes. CHAMPS provides data to local, national, and global health leaders to improve policies and programs and drive investments to save lives.

CWW aims to eliminate soil-transmitted helminths (STH) as a public health problem by engaging with national deworming programs, strengthening partnerships through the STH Coalition, and providing scientific leadership for evidence-based program improvements. Click for more.

MDP manages the donation of Mectizan® by Merck for the control and elimination of river blindness and lymphatic filariasis (LF). As the longest-running drug donation program of its kind, MDP ensures that treatments of Mectizan® and albendazole (donated by GSK) reach communities annually where LF and river blindness are endemic. The Migration Health Initiative (MHI), a partnership with the National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM), seeks to protect the health of globally mobile populations.

NTD-SC facilitates research on tools and techniques to control and eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Its operational research coalition provides a platform for NTD researchers to identify common needs and share technical advances to maximize impact. Click for more.

The Task Force contributes to the polio endgame strategic plan by supporting the development of antiviral agents, strengthening global polio vaccination efforts, helping countries sustain current and post-eradication immunization programs, and supporting containment and certification activities in the United States.
