Our Team
Rich Coulombre

Rich Coulombre founded The Support Group in 1985 and has spent his career helping organizations use technology in practical, meaningful ways. Known for his steady leadership and people-first mindset, Rich values collaboration, thoughtful problem-solving, and long-term partnerships.
He takes pride in working alongside family and colleagues and in building a company where customer service is just as important as technical expertise. His favorite things in the world are his four young grandchildren: Lucy, Ella, Scarlett, and Theo.
Cathy Harper

Cathy Harper is The Support Group’s Director of Operations and has been with TSG since 2006. Beginning her career in accounting, she now oversees the company’s business operations, helping ensure everything runs efficiently and smoothly. Known for her strong attention to detail, Cathy credits TSG’s success to its talented developers and system engineers, whose genuine commitment to client care truly sets them apart. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her yellow labs, gardening and her favorite pastime, playing with her grandchildren.
Karstyn McCoy

Karstyn McCoy, TSG’s Director of Technology, has been developing in FileMaker since v3 and has been with The Support Group since 2007. Known for turning complex requirements into practical, user-friendly systems, he’s helped organizations across a wide range of industries modernize operations and get real insight from their data. Off-hours, he’s a curious tinkerer—into cocktails, craft beer, gardening, and learning new things (usually the hard way, for fun).
Leigh Loder

Leigh Loder started with The Support Group in 2022 as Operations & Marketing Manager. She also focuses on client communication, relationships, and keeping customer service at the heart of everything the team does. Having grown up alongside the business, she brings a long-term perspective and a deep appreciation for the people behind the technology. Outside of work, you can find Leigh trying to keep up with her two young daughters.
Origin Story
The Support Group began in 1985 with a simple idea: technology should help people work better—not make things more complicated. What started as a small training and consulting business quickly grew as organizations kept coming back for one reason: they felt supported.
From the very beginning, our focus wasn’t just on software or systems—it was on listening, understanding real-world challenges, and showing up as a reliable partner. As technology evolved, so did we. Over the decades, we expanded from training into custom software development, helping organizations replace manual processes, streamline operations, and build systems tailored to the way they actually work. Through it all, our approach stayed the same: thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a commitment to doing what’s right for our clients. Forty years later, The Support Group is still guided by those original values. We’re a team of experienced consultants and developers who believe great technology starts with strong relationships.
We put customer service first, collaborate closely with our clients, and design solutions that stand the test of time. We may have grown, but our foundation hasn’t changed—people first, technology second.
