What is St. Louis CAPS?
St. Louis CAPS is a multi-district program where high school juniors and seniors explore high-demand careers through real-world, hands-on learning. Students spend about 2.5 hours daily in professional settings like hospitals, labs, and offices, working on industry projects provided by business partners. The program builds skills in communication, teamwork, problem solving, and creativity while connecting students with professionals across St. Louis. Projects and placements align with career interests, offering internships, job shadowing, and simultaneous high school and college credit (course dependent). Through St. Louis CAPS, students test-drive careers and build networks for future success.
