CAT C1 Licence – Medium-Sized Vehicles (3.5 to 7.5 Tonnes)

Ideal for delivery drivers, couriers and those looking to drive medium-sized commercial vehicles, the CAT C1 licence is a great introduction to professional driving.

You’ll receive practical, hands-on training focused on vehicle control, road safety and preparing you for success in your driving tests.

Your Training Includes:

✔ Online Theory Learning – Study when and where it suits you

✔ Module 1A, 1B & 2 Theory Tests – Taken at your local DVSA test centre

✔ 3–5 Days Practical Driver Training – Covering vehicle safety, road driving and test preparation

✔ Optional Module 4 Driver CPC – Required for professional driving roles

CAT C Licence – Class 2 (Rigid Vehicles Over 7.5 Tonnes)

The CAT C licence is the most popular route into professional HGV driving and allows you to operate rigid vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.

CAT C+E Licence – Class 1 (Articulated Vehicles)

The CAT C+E licence is the highest HGV licence category and allows you to drive articulated vehicles used throughout the logistics industry.

For many drivers, this qualification offers increased flexibility, greater responsibility and access to a wider range of driving roles.

Your Journey to Becoming a Professional Driver

1. Meet the Basic Requirements
✓ Be aged 18 or over
✓ Hold a full UK Category B driving licence
✓ Apply for your LGV provisional entitlement

2. Complete Your Driver Medical
Complete a D4 medical assessment. Our team can guide you through the process and help you find suitable options.

3. Prepare for Your Theory Tests
Access online learning materials and complete Modules 1A, 1B and 2 at your local DVSA test centre.

4. Practical Driver Training
Complete your practical training with experienced instructors, covering vehicle control, road driving and test preparation.

5. Driver CPC Qualification
Complete Module 4 Driver CPC where required for professional driving roles.

6. Achieve Your Licence
Pass your tests, receive your upgraded licence and begin your journey as a professional driver.
