That’s why, every month, we fund the planting of trees in high-impact areas such as Madagascar & Mozambique, plus the reforestation of 15 trees monthly right here in the UK.
This is equivalent to the removal of 26.49 tonnes of CO2 per month.
We wanted to make sure all of our sustainable support was fully certified to established international standards.
With this commitment, we are now able to offset the complete carbon impact of our UK workforce, head office operations, as well as a personal offset for our employees!
That’s not all. The carbon offsetting projects we are involved in include peatland restoration & conservation in Indonesia, and converting landfill gas to energy in Northern Turkey, which you can explore below.
The project sets out to protect and restore 149,800 hectares of peatland ecosystem in Indonesia. This includes the protection of existing peatland forest through satellite monitoring and fire management.
Instead of being released into the atmosphere, dangerous, earth-harming methane gas from landfill sites can instead be tapped, captured, and used as an energy source for generating electricity.
With over 2500 trees in our very own forest, every month we fund the planting of 385 trees.
