- Acumera® Founded: Founded in Austin, TX in 2002 by Brett Stewart and Dirk Heinen after selling Wayport, a leading ethernet solution provider to AT&T.
- Bill Morrow joins as CEO: After serving as an investor and board member, Bill moves into the CEO and Chairman roles in 2019, setting the groundwork for the next stage of growth.
- Strategic Investment: Acumera signs a strategic growth partnership with Peak Rock Capital in 2021.
- Reliant Acquisition: Acumera acquires leading edge computing provider Reliant in February 2022.
- Netsurion Acquisition: Acumera acquires leading secure edge networking provider Netsurion in June 2022.
- Strategic Investment: Acumera signs a strategic growth partnership with Oaktree Capital Management in 2024.
- Scale Computing Acquisition: Acumera acquires leading edge computing provider Scale Computing in July 2025 and Acumera is rebranded to Scale Computing.
