Randpark Ridge Village Association

If you live within the boundaries of the map (Randpark Ridge x 1, 3, 16, 41 and 45) then you are in Randpark Ridge Village Territory.The Randpark Ridge Village Association (RRVA) is your local resident’s association. We are a volunteer run, registered NPC working to maintain and improve our beautiful suburb in many ways, including environmental, safety and security and reaching out to those in need.

The RRVA directors and committee members are volunteers who receive no payments and simply want to make a difference to the community they live in. Anyone can become a volunteer and we would love more people to join our friendly and hardworking team

.At this point you may be asking yourself why you would want to belong to the RRVA and how would it benefit you. Here’s the good news!

The beautiful open spaces in our area like Hymany Park, are kept neat, clean and accessible to all of us by the enviromental team of the RRVA. You may have seen people hard at work cutting the grass, removing overgrowth and clearing culverts. That’s not joburg Parks, that’s us! We are also the reason that you see the EC Security cars parked or patroling day and night and the CCTV cameras in various locations. We communicate with local counselors, police and other local authorities on your behalf. If you go through a difficult time such as illness or the death of a loved one, someone from our care committee will be there to offer you help.

You may be asking, “Why should I pay when even non paying residents are reaping the benefits of the RRVA’s work in the area?” Unfortunately, we cannot force people to become paying members but we do need as many members as possible to continue our good work. As a paying member you will have a direct channel of communication with us, priority care and assistance and discounts on local services such as security companies and local businesses. You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you are one of the very important reasons that we live in such a beautiful and safe neighbourhood.
