Add Two-step verification for Extra Security and Create an App Password

For making your AOL account more secure, two-step verification is a great option. It lets you save yourself when anyone tries to login into your account from an unrecognised device. Whenever two-step verification is on, you need an automatically generated code along with your password for logging in from an unrecognised device or browser.

How to Turn on Two-step Verification in AOL Mail?

Follow the below steps to secure AOL account using two-step verification:

Sign in to your AOL account and go to your account security page.

Beside the "Two-step verification” option, click the Toggle button to turn it on.

Enter your mobile number where you want to receive the verification code.

Click Send SMS or Call me to get the verification code.

After getting the verification code, Enter it, then click the Verify button.
