Is there a sign-up fee?

No, there is no sign-up fee to use Reforest Hosting, just the monthly or annual subscription if you have hosting with us.

Of course! ReforestHosting was set up with one key purpose, to help save our incredible planet. We do this by encouraging people to use eco friendly web hosting powered by renewable energy and by supporting reforestation projects to capture carbon and reverse biodiversity loss.

Our renewable energy claim is verified through the use of SSE Green Electricity, which is 100% renewable electricity generated by wind and hydro assets. This is fully backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) and is independently verified by EcoAct, an Atos company (CDP Accredited Provider).

How do I know how many sqft of land I've sponsored?

We don’t currently have any way of keeping track ourselves, but you can look at your historical invoicing and add it up for each package. We typically pay for more sqft of land than we pledge for our hosting customers. 

We sponsor the purchase of 1 sqft of land for every starter package, 2 for every premium package and 3 sqft for every unlimited package we host.

We keep our packages simple and almost everything you could need is included in our hosting packages with no extra charges. We do not believe in unethical pricing methods.
