Driven By a Higher Purpose
For nearly 100 years, the RDGA has been a driving force behind the thriving golf community in the Greater Rochester region. As an Allied Golf Association of the USGA, we champion the values of integrity, excellence, and fair play while delivering programs that inspire competition and camaraderie.
At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to accessibility and opportunity. Through programs designed to introduce golf to children and young adults in underserved communities, we aim to make the sport a vehicle for positive change.
Golf is more than a game; it teaches discipline, perseverance, honesty, integrity and sportsmanship – qualities that extend far beyond the fairways and into the fabric of our community. The RDGA Foundation helps provide pathways for young players to learn, grow and thrive.
The RDGA Foundation,(a 501C-3 organization) a separate yet supporting philanthropic arm of the RDGA, plays a critical role in securing the resources needed to fulfill this mission. With your generosity, we can continue to provide programs that build not just better golfers but better citizens.
The RDGA Foundation must fundraise every year to fund our junior and grow the game programs. If you would like to help support what the RDGA Foundation does in the Rochester area please see the information below – or, simply click on the “Donate Today” button on the right side of this page.
