In her first season as general manager, Milby led Racing Louisville to its first-ever berth in the NWSL Playoffs in 2025. She had served as the club’s director of operations since 2022.
Before joining the Racing first team staff, Milby spent a year as the League Manager for the LouCity & Racing Academy. BEVERLY YANEZ
Head Coach

In her second season as a head coach, Yanez led Louisville to a historic campaign in 2025. The club finished in seventh place, its highest-ever league standing, earning the first playoff berth in Racing’s history. The team set club records for: wins (10), points (37), goals scored (36) and road victories (5). She was named the NWSL Coach of the Year.
In Yanez’s first season at the helm in 2024, Racing narrowly missed out on the club’s first-ever NWSL playoff berth. Still, the season was not without success — Yanez led Racing to its most wins in a single season (7), its highest-scoring regular season (33 goals) and its most-ever points in the standings (28).
Yanez has led the development a new generation of Racing stars, notably Emma Sears. The former Ohio State forward was the final selection of the second round of the 2024 NWSL draft but emerged as a rookie talent in 2024. She has now become a regular in the United States Women’s National Team.
Following Yanez’s 10-year professional career, Yanez spent three years in the NWSL as an assistant coach before becoming taking charge of Racing. She spent two seasons with NJ/NY Gotham FC, where she helped lead a run to the 2021 Challenge Cup final and the 2021 NWSL Playoffs. Yanez then moved to Louisville, where she helped Racing reach the 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup final — the club’s first appearance in an NWSL final.
A University of Miami alum, Yanez’s playing career had a notable spell with NWSL club Reign FC. She won two NWSL Shields, helped Reign to two NWSL finals, was a Best XI selection and a finalist for the league MVP award in 2015 during her time in Seattle. Over six seasons with Reign, she appeared in 123 games, tallying 24 goals and nine assists.
Yanez’s playing career included stops in Australia, Finland and Japan — where she won the league’s golden boot in 2013 — and included several championships. She won the 2011 Women’s Professional Soccer League title with the Western New York Flash; the 2011 Finnish Naisten Liiga crown with PK-35; back-to-back Japanese Nadeshiko League championships with INAC Kobe; and the 2017 Australian W-League crown with Melbourne City.
