About Qualsafe
Qualsafe aims to raise the standards of qualifications and products for the education and training community. We do this by providing customer focused solutions through innovation, collaboration and leadership.
We provide everything that Centres (Training Providers) require to deliver high-quality training. As an Awarding Organisation, Qualsafe Awards develops industry leading, regulated qualifications. We empower our centres to upskill their trainers with Qualsafe Academy, and we provide all the equipment needed via our Qualsafe Shop. We also act as an End-Point Assessment Organisation, enabling apprentices to gain certification needed to join the workforce.
What is an Awarding Organisation?
An Awarding Organisation designs, develops and awards qualifications for you, the learner. These qualifications are not delivered by us as an Awarding Organisation but by a Qualsafe approved Training Centre. The Centre arranges for a trainer to deliver the learning materials and practical teaching and then assess the learners’ knowledge. Once learners have passed their training, Qualsafe issues the certificates.
Centre Obligations to Learners
When undertaking a qualification with a Qualsafe Awards approved Centre, the Centre must ensure each learner is made aware of the Qualsafe Awards Centre Training Commitment (including details of the complaints and appeals procedures available to them) and Learner Agreement (detailing Learner responsibilities and expected behaviours) at the beginning of their course.
The Centre must also provide a Learner Feedback Form to each learner undertaking the qualification and once completed, these forms must be submitted to Qualsafe Awards for review.
Having trouble contacting your Qualsafe approved Centre?
If you are a Qualsafe learner who has either booked or attended a course at a Qualsafe approved Centre and find yourself in a position where you have tried to contact the Centre for information on your course (e.g. confirmation of course dates, assessment dates or progression on marking completed assessments) on several occasions and are not receiving a response, then please contact Qualsafe and we will be happy to investigate the situation for you and try to find a solution. Please be aware that Qualsafe will not intervene in any financial or contractual dispute between learners and any approved Centre/company and our regulatory remit as a recognised awarding organisation only permits the investigation of educational issues.
