PSK had its beginnings in 1969, when Martin Barnes established and built a successful life insurance and investment business, Martin Barnes & Co, which later became Time Financial Planning.
Meanwhile across town, Ron Prowse, Bill Stefani and Herc Kantarelis started their own successful Financial Planning practice in 1994 (Prowse Stefani Kantarelis Financial Services), employing three support staff to assist the Advisers.
1998 was a true landmark year in the history of PSK. Paul Aspros joined Time Financial Planning and the two businesses merged. PSK was born, operating in two locations: Brookvale and Ramsgate.
Over the next several years, PSK enjoyed a steady path of growth, expanding both organically and through a number of successful acquisitions.
Fast forward to 2021, another milestone year, and PSK acquired two large financial services businesses. In September, PSK acquired Stature Financial Group. Later that year, in December, the Ipac licence, one of Australia’s oldest and most respected advice businesses, was acquired.
Now, over 50 years after its first beginnings, PSK has grown into a practice with over 300 employees across 17 national locations, managing over $9 billion of funds under advice.
Whilst the business may have grown and changed over the years, PSK's aim today is the same as it was in 1969 - quite simply, to provide advice that puts you first.
