Love and Learn the Harp!

Welcome to Christina’s Tutorials

Lesson #1 is Free!
Access it on this page
With Christina’s Tutorials you will learn to play easy songs & how to extend them with improvisational patterns. This will enable you to learn to play-by-ear!

Learn from Christina’s 5-Star Program:

  1. Improvisation – patterns to develop the ear
  2. Technique
  3. Repertoire – 50 new beautiful tunes in 5 rotations
  4. Arranging – where is that chord that harmonizes?
  5. Composition – creating your own music

What You Will Learn in the Progressive Series of Lessons

1. Lessons 1-10 – Learn How to Improvise with Christina’s Signature method

2. Lessons 11-20 – Learn advanced Left Hand Patterns – plus new repertoire
3. Lessons 21-30 – Learn right Hand Patterns plus new repertoire

4. Lessons 32-40 – Celtic Music for Therapeutic applications –

hospice, support groups, vets, prison, psych units, and gentle lullabies for all occasions from the 6 Celtic Nations

5.  Lessons #41-50 – As Above So Below – These songs open up the ethereal aspect of reach upwards and outwards. Wheres in the prior series we were looking at addressing more of a reflective nature, this series will focus on songs that lift the Spirit. There will be songs that reflect overtones that open the intervals of HOPE. As always, you will be working with more chords to create your own improvisational patter to extend these tunes.
6.  Lessons #51-60 – Lessons on Songs from the Geodepédie – Hidden Light Healing Music Book III.  If you like the music on the Cd, you’ll find lots of the tricks I had to use to compose these pieces of music. Some of the songs are built on Chord Progressions.
7.  Lessons #61-70 – Our Group 7 is entering into a new kind of Series.  You will be given a progression of left hand chords. It is your task to create a melodic line in the right hand based on the chords. To make it fun, I will send a clue or two that the chords were used in a familiar beautiful tune.  You may start with your improvisational work in any time signature that feels comfortable.  At the Gathering I will give the answer to those who think they know the name of the Original Song!
8.  Lessons #71-#80 – Group 7 now becomes Group 8 and we had so much fun with the previous Series of guessing familiar songs with a Chord Progress that we are going to continue with working on a Chord Progression and then mesh the improvisational music with familiar songs from International Countries. For those working in Hospitals and Hospices, it is good to have music for people from their own Culture.

NOTE:  All the lessons build on each other.  In other words, your preparation from the Series will be incorporated in each successive lesson – thus it is important to build your skills.
