👋🏼Hey everyone!&nbsp;I'm Vicki, and I'm on a <a href="https://medium.com/@vickiheart/rftw-35bf77426d6" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">journey to explore new ways of working</a>. Right now, I'm focused on creating a more intuitive guide to decision making. This project started off as an illustrated book about bias, and has morphed into a written book about life’s burning questions and how we answer them.📘 Why decision making?&nbsp;On our most typical day, we make hundreds of conscious and unconscious decisions. These take the shape of small, repeated choices that we make based on our mood and circumstance: what to have for lunch, what to watch on TV, what to do over the weekend. There are the bigger, ever present questions that surface in between, that we revisit and mull over for years: how to be happy, how to overcome a fear, how to find our partners. The sum of these choices eventually bring us to those sorts of life-changing decisions that serve as crossroads: whether to accept or quit a job, whether to make a big move, whether to remain in a relationship.&nbsp;For a life-changing skill that we do so frequently, it seems unusual that we don’t have a stronger understanding about how to make decisions that are in service of our true wants and desires. At each of these junctions, having a deeper grasp of what we’re consciously choosing, versus surrendering to passive agreement, can help us honestly answer the question of “How did I get here?”🍳 What is this Patreon thing?&nbsp;It's a way for you to support me in my journey (if you'd like)!
