Radon is an award-winning triannual genre journal publishing prose and poetry relating to science fiction, anarchism, transhumanism, and dystopia. Our goal is to amplify progressive speculative writers who see the world differently, who use story and verse to expose injustice and investigate our futures.
New issues are released on the first of February, June, and October. We publish worldwide in both digital and print formats. Our semi-pro market pays its authors, has no submission fees, and is committed to supporting authors well after publication.
Radon is not-for-profit. All donations go directly toward expanding journal content and paying our authors. Our yearly financial statements are available on our website and Bluesky.
Through community support, we have been able to more than double our pay rates, and look forward to continuing to do so. Our current goal is $275/month in pledged funding. This equates to being fully funded (for the first time), and we will be able to expand journal offerings for our readers.
