Hey there, Force fans! After wildly successful Kickstarter campaigns in 2014 and 2015, the Nintendo Force made the leap here to Patreon in 2016! This is the place where fans have the chance to sign up and get new, Nintendo-focused magazines coming to your mailbox (or email inbox). It's time to join the Force of Nintendo fans! Subscribe to NF Magazine by becoming a patron on this page!

Here's some background info for you. Back in December 2012, Nintendo Power Magazine shipped its final issue. That got a lot of long-time Nintendo fans upset, as NP had been the one consistent and reliable print magazine covering Nintendo video games ever since the '80s. Some of us had been subscribers for over two decades, and there were still tens of thousands of active subscribers getting new issues delivered in the mail up until that final issue.
Well, we didn't want to see that legacy die. So we assembled a dream team of the most well-known Nintendo journalists from around the world and launched a new magazine four years ago! The first issue went on sale on January 11, 2013, exactly one month after Nintendo Power ended.
Nintendo Force Magazine is not Nintendo Power, but we're carrying its torch forward into the future by paying homage to the best parts of NP's past while forging a new identity with an all-new team. So join the Force! Subscribe to NF Magazine by becoming a patron here on Patreon, and get all-new Nintendo magazines coming to your mailbox, your email inbox or directly to your digital reading device of choice!
(Note for grown-ups: Being an adult stinks when it comes to checking your mail. Nothing but bills, ads and piles of unsolicited coupons you'll never use in there. But for just a few bucks invested here, checking your mailbox can become an exciting, nostalgic experience once again! NF isn't just a magazine – it's an adult life morale booster.)

Work has begun on NF Issue #84, and I don't know if you know this, but NF team member John-Charles Holmes is the world's biggest Rhythm Heaven fan! He's absolutely thrilled that a new game in that series is about to hit the Switch, and he's cooking up great content ideas in our magazine-brainstorming discussion threads. It's sure to be a great one, so please look forward to it!
Anyone who's not yet an NF patron and signs up now will get NF #84 as the first issue of their new subscription. In order to get on its mailing list, you need to be signed up as a patron here before Tuesday, June 16, 2026!

Our 83rd issue is complete! "Nintendo Force Magazine, Issue #83: Better Late Than Never! — May/June 2026" tackles the topic of timing. Specifically shining the spotlight on big-name video game that originally debuted on competing platforms, and only later have made their way to Nintendo's systems!
Three examples of this phenomenon grace its cover: The Disney Afternoon Collection, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. And far more are covered inside!
Digimon Story: Time Stranger. Blue Prince. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown. 007 First Light. Elden Ring. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Poker Night at the Inventory. Shenmue III. Tales of Arise . . .
The list goes on and on! All of those are titles that fall into this same category and are covered within just this one issue. All of them had their Day 1 several months or years earlier on some system outside of Nintendo’s ecosystem, then showed up late for Big N fans. (Or will in upcoming months!)
In order to get on the first mailing list for this issue, you needed to be signed up as a patron here before Tuesday, April 21, 2026. If you signed up after that, don't worry! You can still get a copy by placing an order for one through the website store at NFMagazine.com.

Our 82nd issue of NF! For this March/April 2026 edition, we turned our attention to Capcom — as they opened up the floodgates across that two-month stretch!
Five big-name Capcom releases marched onto the Switch and Switch 2, one after another, beginning with The Disney Afternoon Collection on February 26, then Resident Evil Requiem on February 27, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection on March 13, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection on March 27 and finally ending with the all-new IP Pragmata on April 17. All of that in less than two months!
We gave each one of those titles a turn in the spotlight, and also looked ahead at the new Classic series Mega Man sequel that's in the works: Mega Man: Dual Override. As well as printing a huge art gallery of entries from Capcom's Robot Master Design Contest for that same game! Even if you aren't a Capcom fan, though, you're sure to find something you love inside.

Our first 2026 issue was our 81st overall, and marked 13 years of continuous NF publication!
Against all odds, Nintendo decided to revive the infamous Virtual Boy hardware. It was re-released as a Nintendo Classics add-on device in February – and also arriving in February was the brand-new Mario Tennis Fever, which can trace its roots all the way back to Mario's Tennis, which was the pack-in game for the Virtual Boy in 1995! We had to celebrate that convergence, so NF #81 became "The Legacy of the Virtual Boy."
