MafiaHub is represented by a group of developers based in Slovakia revolving around
game
modding
and multiplayer development.
We first began our journey in 2013, when we worked on a
multi-player modification
for
Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven called Lost Heaven Multiplayer. You can

At 2017, we've decided to start an open-source re-creation project of Mafia game. We've learned a lot from our mistakes and experience we made since 2013 and used our knowledge to develop an open-source engine powering Mafia game data. It was called OpenMF and was written from scratch in C++.
This project was later rewritten to better fit our requirements. We ended up rewriting our work and porting it to the Unity game engine . This is when OpenMF got renamed to MafiaUnity, a suite of tools, parsers and gameplay test scenes useful for viewing or exporting game data from the Mafia game.
Since the end of 2018, we've also been working on a new multi-player modification for Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven called Mafia: Oakwood. The development is a result of years of game logic research and reverse engineering, where we put our best development practices in motion to develop a stable, effective and feature-rich modification.
Our contribution is also spread towards our sister projects, as well as open-source communities. We embrace the open-source idea and support third-party projects, aid game research and provide resources to spread our knowledge across the communities.
