Hiya ! Welcome to my Patreon page 🖤
WHO AM I ?
I'm Mads/Madsfive, a cosplayer from France who loves bringing fictional characters to life ! I've began cosplaying in 2015, using closet items to mimic comics characters clothes. I've started making big foam armor in 2018 and haven't stopped since ! Although foam armor is kind of my speciality, I strive to learn more about other type of materials/technics (sewing, LEDs, molding/casting etc...).
WHY A PATREON PAGE ?
Although cosplay is an amazing hobby... It's kind of expensive. My first goal when I decided to make this page was to make my passion pay for itself and to be a bit more financially responsible.
I also really want to contribute more to the community and Patreon give me the tools to do so ! My goal with this is to be able to help others create ! 🖤
WHAT CAN I GET ?
It's not physically possible to make one cosplay in a month. I'm fast, but not THAT fast. However subscribing we'll give you access to monthly rewards related to my current project and more.
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY PATTERNS AND BOOKLETS ?
All the downloable files will be uploaded on a Google Drive. Everytime I upload something there, I'll send everyone a message via Patreon so you can have access to it !
MY PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
I probably won't be able to go full time, and I'm not sure I want to just yet. Being self-employed and relying completely on that can be extremely tricky and stressful.
However the more patrons I get, the more high quality rewards I'll be able to give away. For example : better photoshoot (-> so better prints), perhaps videos, more physical rewards (stickers, pins, printed tutorial book, calendar etc...).
ALSO no matter the number of Patreon and my earning I want stay as accessible as possible. Meaning I'll restrict my use of high end tools and very expensive materials. I find the beauty of cosplay is sometimes in the ability to make something beautiful out of random items.
