 I've contribute to Vue.js official some open source projects, I've developed i18n related library and tools for Vue.js, and In Japan, I've translated official documents translation and got some presentation in local meetup. Open Source like the Vue.js needs more people like you. 😻 (I'm still experimenting with Patreon so the rewards or goals may be revised as we go in this journey together. If I update about them, I'll let you know by means of Patreon or other-ways.) <h4>Why Patreon?</h4>As for my contribution to open source as above, while I'm working as CTO, I'm organizing the Japanese community and contributing to Vue.js official open source projects, and I have personal some open source projects. So far, I have worked these contribution after finishing my regular work and finding hiatus. However, I'm limited by the time to contribute to these open source. 😿 Since I've contribute to Vue.js from 2014, Vue.js have also grown. As a result, scope of the contribution that must be helped has also grown. The Japanese Vue.js community which I'm organizing is growing sharply. Recently, by volunteer staff 's help, Vue.js meeup is regularly hosted. As Vue.js core team member, I need to contribute to several Vue.js official open source projects, and like vue-i18n, I need to continue to develop and maintain several my open source projects. And besides, Vue.js core team are challenging new projects (e.g. Vue CLI UI) in addition to working to Vue.js <a href="https://github.com/vuejs/roadmap" target="_blank">roadmap</a>. I also have some new ideas and roadmaps (see the below). Because of this situation, I'm very difficult to continue contributing to open source projects that will more grow for the future. By becoming a Patron, if the my rewards goals is achieved, it'll be less dependent on current my work, so far my open source contribution times is surely maintained. it means that I can further focus on achieving the roadmap and my new ideas. Vue.js 公式オープンソースプロジェクトにコントリビューションしつつ、Vue.js 向けの i18n 関連のライブラリやツールなどの開発を個人で取り組んだり、そして、日本では、ドキュメントの翻訳、登壇による啓蒙活動、オープンソースコミュニティの活動をしています。
 
 Vue.js のようなオープンソースは、もっと皆さん助けが必要です。 😻 
(私はまだ Patreon を初めたばかりです。なので、色々と試行錯誤しているため、報酬や目標が改定される可能性があります。改定する際は、Patreon また何らかの連絡手段でお知らせします。) 
 
 
<h4>なぜ、Patreon を始めるの？</h4>
 
私のこうしたオープンソースへのコントリビューションは、CTO として仕事しながら、Vue.js 関連のオープンソースプロジェクトに関わり、日本のコミュニティを運営しています。そして、個人のオープンソースプロジェクトを持っています。これまで、これらの活動は仕事が終わった後や隙間時間を見つけて活動してきました。
 
 
しかし、オープンソース活動に当てることが出来る時間に限界がきつつあります。

私は、2014年から Vue.js にコントリビューションしてきましたが、ここ数年の成長でオープンソース活動範囲が広まりました。
 
 
運営する日本でのコミュニティグループも急激に成長しており、最近ではボランティアスタッフのヘルプによって、ミートアップを定期的に主催しています。
 
 
また、Vue.js コアチームメンバとして、Vue.js 公式が持つ様々なオープンソースプロジェクトへのコントリビューションや、vue-i18n のように、いくつか私個人が持つオープンソースプロジェクトも引き続き、開発、メンテナンスしなければなりません。
 
 
さらに、Vue CLI UI のような Vue.js コアチームメンバによる様々なオープンソースプロジェクトが立ち上がっていきます。私自身も、いくつか新しいアイデアとロードマップ(以降で説明)を持っています。
 
 
こうした状況であるため、現状のまま引き続き、今後スケールするオープンソースプロジェクトに対して、コントリビューションしていくのは、困難です。
 
 
Patreon で皆様から支援を受けることで、報酬目標が達成されれば、本業に頼ることは少なくなり、これまで私のオープンソースに対する活動時間は確実に維持されます。そして、さらにロードマップの達成と新しいアイデアの実現に向けて注力できることを意味します。
