Minsky: system dynamics with a Godley twist

Minsky is a member of the family of system dynamics programs, which includes Stella, Vensim, IThink, Mathematica System Modeler, Simulink, etc. These programs use flowchart-style logic to design models of dynamic processes, where changes to one variable can cause "feedback effects" on other variables in a system.In addition to supporting this flowchart approach to building dynamic models of systems, Minsky has a unique feature: Godley Tables.Godley Tables follow the rules of double-entry bookkeeping, making them ideal for modelling financial processes. They also apply the rule that one entity's financial asset is another entity's financial liability to enable a comprehensive model of financial processes for an entire economy--or an entire company, if you want to model its internal dynamics. These tables are far easier to write, edit, and understand, than flowchart models of the same processes.

Minsky User

The same as Minsky Users, but no need to provide your address. We're trying to build a user community for Minsky, which isn't possible from SourceForge, since all downloads there are anonymous. But if you want to remain anonymous, this is the tier for you.
 
You can also delete your pledge after the initial sign-up too if you wish--we're cool with that. The same applies to all other pledge levels, so if you want just want to check Minsky out , you can do so with just a one-off contribution.

Anonymous/One-Time Minsky

The same as Minsky User, plus the knowledge that you're helping us to build Minsky more quickly.

Minsky Developer

The same as Minsky Users, plus the knowledge that you're helping us to build Minsky very quickly. Every ten Developers help pay for one hour of Russell's programming time per month.

Minsky Sponsor

The same as Minsky Users, plus the knowledge that you're helping us to build Minsky really quickly. Every month, your contribution enables 15 minutes of development time.

Minsky Champion

The same as Minsky User, plus the knowledge that you're helping us to build Minsky at light speed. Every month, your contribution enables 1 hour of development time.  That's awesome!
 
There's a limit of 80, because that's about the maximum number of hours that Russell can afford to devote to Minsky (a freelance developer needs a diversified portfolio of clients).
 
We don't believe that Unicorns exist, but we're willing to be surprised. If you are one, and you're happy about that being known, we'll acknowledge your support in the "About" page in Minsky.
