We work with bonafide experts to create best-in-class content for emergency preparedness, focusing on common-sense, deeply-researched articles and videos.  Making quality content is hard and expensive. That's why most stuff around the internet — and particularly in the prepper market — is unhelpful, not trustworthy, or even dangerously wrong. Most content is made with 30 minutes of basic googling, farmed out to someone overseas for $100 a pop. We do it differently. We pay qualified people a fair wage and spend a huge amount of money buying products for testing, doing countless hours of research, etc. We spend thousands of dollars and 100s of hours working on some of the heavier articles or videos. Yet The Prepared is free for everyone, with zero advertisements, annoying popups, or deceptive sponsored / 'guest' posts. Our work is what's often copied and pasted by other prepper sites.
