I create open-source software for both biological science and games. My current most active projects are the DegenPrimer PCR simulation program and a plugin for the Kerbal Space Program named Throttle Controlled Avionics. And while it is fun and challenging, big projects cannot run long on sheer enthusiasm as they demand more and more time to develop and maintain. That's why I'm looking for support.
