We created this program to fit the growing need for high school boys soccer players to bridge the jump between youth club soccer and being successful at the college program they desire. The average age of NCAA men’s college teams continues to be on the rise, and has left behind very good youth soccer players in the process.
01. Arrive at college physically prepared and tactically ahead
02. Compete immediately rather than “catch up”
03. Enter the recruiting process with clarity & confidence
04. Develop independence before stepping onto a college campus
We aim to give these players who just graduated high school an opportunity to train and play exactly like our Cortland Men’s Soccer team, without them using a year of eligibility! When they are done with this program, they’ll be ready for a much better level of college soccer- thus helping them play at more successful college programs and earning strong degrees in the process.
The timeline will mirror the college two-semester calendar. Late August–Early December and again Mid-January to Mid-May. During these time blocks the team will train/play 6 days a week, have strength and conditioning sessions, work with a mental performance coach and train on cutting edge facilities.
Each semester mirrors the structure of a full college program – giving players the experience and development they need without touching their NCAA eligibility clock.

Players will be housed in apartments at a complex called College Suites in Cortland, NY. Cost is $650/month per person for a ten month lease to cover the duration of the OnePlus program depending on housing style preferred. Players will room together in these apartments
There are many options available to players in the program. There are kitchens in the apartment options for them, so cooking on their own is most cost effective. If they are enrolled part-time in any of the colleges in the area, meal plans may also be an option for those players.
Players will receive a fully funded package from Nike (valued over $1,000 retail) which will include:
Players will look to exit our program at the end of the year in one of three ways:
Join Cortland
Joining the full Cortland Men’s Soccer team as a student and player (with 4 years of eligibility remaining)
Transfer to Another College
Going through the recruiting process at other colleges and joining their full college program (with 4 years of eligibility remaining) with our help from coaches and staff.
Return for year 2
Re-joining the program for a second year if more time/growth is needed to achieve the College Soccer opportunity they desire.
2nd year in the program will not have any effect on 4 years of college eligibility at the Division 3 level but it will impact 1 year of eligibility at the Division 1 or 2 levels.
