Yeolight Technology

Company Type:

Yeolight Technology was spun-off Visionox in May 2015 to act as an independent company focusing on OLED lighting. The company produces and supplies OLED lighting panels.

In 2016 Yeolight introduced its first OLED lamp, using panels acquired from LG Display, but since then it started producing its own lighting panels, at a small-scale production line. Since 2017 Yeolight mainly targets the automotive market. In 2020 the company announced that the Hongqi H9 Sedan, which launched in China, uses the company's OLED taillights. Yeolight develops flexible OLED lighting panels, and is also developing PMOLED display modules produced on its line.

In 2022, Yeolight started to build a 4.5-Gen OLED lighting fab, in a $300 million investment. The new fab will have a capacity of around 8 million panels in a year, and will be the world's largest OLED lighting fab. In the summer of 2023 the company started to move in equipment in the new fab.
