The Park Unizen consists of 69 serviced residences, located next to the upcoming The Park Hotel, which will offer banquet halls, event spaces, signature dining, nightlife venues, and wellness facilities. The development is designed by global architecture firm Gensler, who drew inspiration from the region's layered ecology. This is reflected in the building's vertical design and responsive faade. The common areas, including a wellness terrace and landscaped leisure zones, blend hospitality and residential standards.

PrayagrajDDU route to get 12 stations redeveloped

The redevelopment work is being carried out simultaneously with the construction of a third railway line. The stations selected for redevelopment include Bheerpur, Meja Road, Unchdeeh, Manda Road, Jigna, Gaipura, Birohi, and Sipura. Pahara, Dagmagpur, Kailhat, and Narayanpur Bazar are also part of the project. Modern Station Buildings and Platforms Under the plan, each station will receive a new building equipped with modern amenities.

Report submitted for Pranahita-Chevella barrage in Telangana

Consultancy firm Aarvee Associates has submitted the alignment report for linking the Pranahita-Chevella barrage at Thummidihatti with the Sundilla barrage in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district to the Telanganagovernment. The proposed project involves digging over 19 km of tunnel to transport water by gravity to the Sundilla barrage. Once the report is approved, the firm will prepare a detailed design considering geographical, hydrological conditions, and flood calculations. A survey has been conducted for 150 mtrs. level height of the barrage.The project aims to lift 122 TMC of water from Sundilla to fill the Sripada Yellampalli Project, with the alignment fixed at 150 mtrs. The existing 76.565 km canals will be utilised for this purpose, with necessary permissions to be obtained from Maharashtra for water lifting.

Tamil Nadu invites bids for 20 MW rooftop solar projects

The scope of work includes site survey, design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning, as well as operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar projects for 25 years to be implemented on a net feed-in basis. Tamil Nadu approved 1,500 MWh energy storage

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the rollout of 1,500 MWh battery energy storage systems across the state to support round the clock renewable power supply. The projects, cleared under a build operate transfer model, are aimed at strengthening grid stability as Tamil Nadu integrates higher volumes of solar and wind energy into its electricity network. Under the plan, three developers have been selected to set up standalone battery storage facilities with a combined capacity of 375 MW and 1,500 MWh of storage. Maharashtra based Eagle Infra India Ltd will install 175 MW of systems, Chennai based OPG Power Generation Pvt Ltd will add another 175 MW, and Delhi based Onward Solar Power Pvt Ltd will deploy the remaining 25 MW. The projects were awarded through competitive bidding.

SIPCOT launches industrial park in Dharmapuri

Dharmapuri district in Tamil Nadu is set for significant industrialisation, owingto a major initiative by the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT). As part of the first phase of its project, SIPCOT has allocated 17 plots covering 45.87 acres to set up 10 industrial units. These industries, focused on electric vehicle components, battery manufacturing, and electronics, are expected to be operational by 2028. In total, 998.47 acres have been earmarked for the SIPCOT Industrial Park, which is planned in two phases. The first phase includes the completion of land acquisition for 1,734.15 acres, with a focus on infrastructure development. Key amenities include a 230 kV substation for uninterrupted power supply, stormwater drains over 200 acres, roads, minor bridges, and an administration building.

ACME Solar commissions 143 MW/481 MWh BESS in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned 142.67 MW/481.49 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) in the Indian state of Rajasthan through its subsidiaries. The installation represents Phase 1 of its planned 585 MW/2,011.24 MWh BESS capacity under these special purpose vehicles. The company said its current RE project portfolio requires around 17 GWh of BESS across different states. The newly commissioned BESS capacity in Rajasthan is connected with the existing operational inter-state transmission system (ISTS) and will run on merchant basis on short term basis, generating additional revenue stream through price differential between peak and non-peak demand hours.
