Need a bigger city fix? Las Vegas is roughly a two-hour drive south, and Salt Lake City is about four hours north.

We enjoy a four-season desert climate here. Summers are definitely hot and dry, with July highs averaging around 101°F according to climate data sources. But our winters are generally mild, with January highs near 54°F and lows dipping just below freezing to about 30°F. It can get windy, especially in winter, which lives up to the city's name origin!

Hurricane rests in the beautiful Hurricane Valley. The landscape is dominated by the impressive red rock Hurricane Cliffs to our east, part of the Hurricane Fault system.
