Materials

Making the most sustainable choice for materials is one of our highest priorities. Our frames are developed from cotton acetate, stainless steel, and repurposed production waste:

• Cotton acetate is biocompatible, anti-allergenic, and biodegradable, consisting of over 95% cotton flowers and wood pulp. 
• Stainless steel is completely recyclable and the steel we use already has a minimum recycled content of 60%
• Recycled Black is our Zero Waste-material Instead of sending our cut-outs to a landfill, we create a glossy and beautifully opaque black from re-melting the scraps from the production of our frames.
