✎ Learn & Review

The Learn and Review section is where students should start for each topic. You'll find this option in the Games Menu. These exercises allow students to see pictures and hear vocabulary pronounced by a native speaker - essential foundation before moving to games.

Click and Learn English
This exercise displays all vocabulary for the topic. Students can choose to display written text or just click on images to hear words pronounced. Perfect for visual learners who want control over their learning pace.

Large Flash Cards

English Vocabulary Videos
A single image flash card style presentation showing all words in the topic. Good if students are unfamiliar with the images. Images present like a slideshow with tap to hear audio/pronunciation. Tap the card, listen, and repeat as many times as needed.

📚 Vocabulary Games

The vocabulary games section helps students practice and solidify vocabulary within each topic. It's important that students become familiar with words before moving to conversation or grammar activities. Through these engaging exercises, students will hear vocabulary, read words, and build confidence.

Time Click

Vocabulary Building Game
A timed vocabulary exercise with three options: listen to the word and click the picture, listen and click the written word, or read and click the correct image. Students choose difficulty: easy (60 sec), normal (40 sec), or hard (30 sec).

Memory

Vocabulary Building Activity
Students click cards to find matching pairs: "a bear" matches "a bear". Choose from images only, images with text, or text only. Image cards include audio pronunciation, while text cards require reading.

Shoot Out

Vocabulary Building Exercises
Students listen to vocabulary and shoot the correct target (image or text). They have 5 seconds from loading the gun to shoot. Points decrease as the timer counts down, adding excitement and urgency.
Learning Goal: Quick vocabulary recognition; reading practice under pressure
Medium

✍ Spelling Games

The spelling section helps students practice spelling target vocabulary. One activity lets students select correct spelling, while the second requires them to spell words correctly using an on-screen keyboard.

Missile Defense

Online Spelling Game
A UFO drops 3 missiles, each with different spellings of a vocabulary word. Students must identify the correct spelling, attach a bomb to that missile, then detonate it before it reaches Earth. Fast-paced and exciting!

Collect the Stars

Online Spelling Exercises
Students look at an image and use the on-screen keyboard to spell the word. Click the image to hear pronunciation. After typing, click 'check' to see if the spelling is correct. One star awarded per correct answer.

💬 Questions & Answers

The questions and answers activities work on conversation exchanges with two types of questions: yes/no questions and wh- questions. These are passive exercises where students listen to questions and different possible answers, then choose the correct answer. Students don't need to read or produce written forms for these activities.

Students see a picture and three answer options below. They hear a wh- question, and when rolling over answer options, hear possible answers. Click the correct answer to receive gems as points.

Questions and Answers English Activities
Students see a partially blocked image and hear a yes/no question. They must decide if the answer is 'yes' or 'no'. Each correct answer lights up one level on the tower. Light up the complete tower to win!

Questions and Answers English Exercises
Students see 4 images and hear a wh- question. Move the mouse to the green hand, which lights up and gives an answer. Click the corresponding picture before the red hand does. Beat the hand to win!

📕 Grammar Games

The grammar games focus on correct sentence formation. There are three games per topic, each increasing in difficulty. The first requires choosing the correct answer, the second has students build the correct answer, and the third requires typing the correct answer. Heavy emphasis is placed on English punctuation and grammar rules such as capital letters, contractions, and comma usage.

English Grammar Games
Students choose a point value (3pt shots are harder than 2pt). After seeing a question and 3-4 possible answers, select one by clicking. If correct, the ball goes in and students earn points. Students have 12 attempts to score more than 21 points.

English Grammar Activities
Students see an image and must build the answer using one word/phrase from each column. After selecting, click 'check'. If wrong, correct the mistake columns and check again. The final correct answer displays before moving to the next question.

Homerun Derby

English Grammar Exercises
Students see an image and a problem, then type their answer on the line provided. The game accepts multiple correct forms (contracted/non-contracted, short/long answers). Click 'check' - if correct, swing and hit a homerun! If wrong, get a strike and try again.
