Database management system with interoperability

Do you need a database with interoperability? Platform independent eXtremeDB has you covered.

What does it mean to have a database with interoperability?

Interoperability can mean different things (all of which eXtremeDB can do):

  1.  A database can be created on one platform (e.g. Windows) and worked with on that platform and other platforms (e.g. Linux).
  2.  A database can be created on one platform (e.g. FreeRTOS on ARM) and replicated to another platform (e.g. Linux on x86).
  3.  A database can be created on one platform (e.g. VxWorks on an ARM processor) and moved to a different platform (e.g. Linux on x86) for further processing. This is common for military systems that have one platform for the mission, but post-mission after-action analysis is done on another platform.

The flexibility of platform independence

The eXtremeDB platform independent database was created to be a powerful tool for the professional developer.

eXtremeDB was designed and implemented to be highly portable, and can operate without an operating system. It can also operate without a file system.

eXtremeDB runs predictably on dozens of hardware architectures and operating systems.  Learn how in our online documentation.
