Based in Brno, Czech Republic, Flowmon develops technologies for monitoring, analysing, and securing network traffic. Starting as an academic startup in 2007, it now operates in forty-five countries and has over 1,200 customers, resulting in Flowmon holding the position of a leader in Central Europe. It has also appeared in Deloitte’s ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies and is recognised by Gartner as one of the three companies globally that excels in both network monitoring and security.
Then, in November 2020, Flowmon Networks became part of Kemp Technologies. A year later, Kemp Technologies was acquired by Progress Software, making Flowmon Networks part of Progress Software as well.

Professionalisation and Transformation
In the beginning, Flowmon was just a single room at the South Moravian Innovation Center, with three people, three desks, and servers behind them. Initially, both production and development at Flowmon were managed in an in-house server room. However, as the company grew and began planning global expansion, they decided to professionalise their IT. So, in 2020, the decision was made to move all technologies to MasterDC, including those running customer-facing services. Today, Flowmon is happy not managing this part of their business anymore.
