How much did you spend on your rigs and antennas? Buying me a coffee isn't much in comparison, is it?!

Historical Sections In March 2012, the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) announced that it would split its Ontario Section into four new Sections: Ontario North (ONN), Ontario East (ONE), Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario South (ONS).
In January 2020, the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) announced that the number of Sections needed for a clean sweep in the ARRL November Sweepstakes (SS) will rise to 84 in 2020, with the addition of a new Prince Edward Island (PE) Section. The new Section will become effective on April 1 2020. RAC said its Prince Edward Island members have been working for some time to create a separate Section for RAC ARES activities there. The provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick will continue to be in the Maritimes (MAR) Section. In addition to Field Day and Sweepstakes, the new Section in Canada will affect the ARRL 160-Meter Contest but not the ARRL 10-Meter Contest, which uses states/provinces for US and Canadian multipliers. RAC also announced an adjustment in two of its Ontario Sections. Effective April 1, radio amateurs in the City of Hamilton and in the Regional Municipality of Niagara will shift to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Section from the Ontario South (ONS) Section.
In May 2022, the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) announced that the number of Sections will increase by 1 from Jan 01st 2023. The Maritime (MAR) section is abolished, to be replaced by 2 single-province sections: New Brunswick (NB) and Nova Scotia (NS). The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) section has been renamed as Golden Horseshoe(GH). The Northern Territories (NT), which combines Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut, has been renamed as Territories (TER).
In July 2025, the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) announced that the number of Sections will increase by 1 from Jul 01st 2025, to include YT. The old Territories (TER) section has been divided into two parts. Radio amateurs in the
Yukon Territory are now located in the YT section, whilst Radio Amateurs in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut continue to be located in the Territories (TER) section. The change was made at the request of Radio Amateurs in Yukon who volunteered to organise a distinct section for that territory. It was announced in RAC's journal, The Canadian Amateur (TCA), for July/August 2025, but wrongly reported to have an abbreviation of 'YUK'. This was reported to me by Dave Goodwin VE3KG, Regulatory Affairs Officer on 04 August 2025, and subsequently corrected here.
