I helped coach our guest bloggers with simple copy edits, photography, references, and eventually publishing their work to the website.

CSAT scores improved year over year even as we increased efficiency and effectiveness: offering more workshops while decreasing Technical Curriculum Developers time on the project. This work represented several months of planning and cross-team collaboration with 100+ people across a dozen teams at Datadog.

    Accolades:

"Just want to say that the workshops were the best organized part of the week and it was a huge relief to have the sense that there was always a plan and that I personally always felt like I knew what was expected of me, when, and where. It really stood out to me in a chaotic week just how damn well this was organized and how easy it was to step into and execute."

"Wanted to reiterate what I’ve said a couple times now. Really appreciate the hard work and dedication related to DASH workshop and workshop week. You’ve been extremely intentional, and directly applied lessons learned from previous events. As a result this was the smoothest set of DASH workshops yet. Customers really enjoyed them, and the feedback I’ve received from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. Follow Datadogs, both on the team and external to the team, have passed along what a positive experience it was working with you on DASH, with a couple specific mentions of how well organized and run the process was."

"DASH Workshop day went so well that I experienced a phantom panic where I expected something to go wrong but it never did. Compliments to everyone involved for preparing and running such a smooth operation."

"The planning, execution, and organization of workshops at DASH were a very clear, awesome standout for me... I had a huge amount of customers and attendees tell me how delighted they were that the sessions were meaningful and deep, which is not super common for large conference tech workshops."

  • Overnight Website Challenge 2014: Drupal Rocks!

    -

At The Nerdery Overnight Website Challenge, volunteers form teams of ten web pros that show up not knowing what nonprofit they'll serve, pro bono, for the next 24 hours. We were delighted to work with Home For Life, a third door no kill shelter for animals who would have issues being placed in homes.

In just 24 hours (give or take) we created the website and logo at http://homeforlife.org.

Enjoy Creativity ran an unconference for people doing web work for churches in and around the Twin Cities. The event went so well that we kicked off into a monthly meetup where we give brief presentations and discuss relevant topics for church tech teams. In 2016 this turned into an online group with recorded hangouts that anyone can join. See more at http://churchwebpeople.com.
