Anant Misra shared thisThanks a lot Dan Phillips for believing in us and the shout out!Anant Misra shared this8:55am. Before anyone says good morning, the standup pre-read is already in Slack. Sprint goal. What moved since yesterday. Blocked and unplanned work. Tickets missing estimates. Velocity, the day in the sprint, and an honest read on whether you are on pace. Not a one line status. The whole pre-read. Nobody prepped it. Elisa did. 9:30am. Someone asks her, how is the sprint going? She answers in plain English, with the charts to back it up. Midmorning, she quietly nudges two engineers. One ticket is missing an estimate. Another has not been updated in two days. She pings an action item owner whose due date is tomorrow. One click to mark done. 2pm. Asked if there are any risks, she flags a dependency about to slip, evidence attached, before it can derail the sprint. Friday. The sprint report writes itself and lands in Slack. Nobody stayed late to build it. This is delivery that runs itself. Elisa is your AI Delivery Partner. Ask her anything about your sprint, and she does the chasing you never have time for. She writes the full standup pre-read, tracks action items, keeps your board honest, and ships your reports, right inside Slack and Jira. Your team already ships fast. Now your delivery keeps up. Early access is open, with limited availability. No credit card. Link in the first comment 👇 #AI #EngineeringManagement #SoftwareDelivery Easentic

Anant Misra posted thisBuilding and scaling platforms over the last two decades has given me plenty of scars and hard-earned lessons. Now, I want to help other engineering leaders by giving them an “AI-Native Software Delivery OS” for this new era. I'm pulling back the curtain on Easentic. Our first digital coworkers are ready to be hired. I’ll be sharing the deep dives over the next few weeks. For today, I just want to ask engineering leaders: As your developers adopt AI coding assistants, where is your delivery still getting stuck? Is it the lost action items from meetings? Critical paths getting drowned? Risks being flagged too late in the game? What pain points are you struggling with today?

Anant Misra shared thisAnant Misra shared thisToday, we’re launching Optexity, the fastest way to build and scale browser automations. Grateful to be building this with my amazing co-founder Shivam Goyal and backed by Pear VC, Together Fund and a group of incredible angels. Over the past few months, we interviewed dozens of tech leaders in healthcare, insurance and logistics companies. One common theme emerged: most business-critical workflows have no APIs. They can only be done through the UI. Data is trapped inside clunky, legacy portals, causing teams to either: - Hire people to manually execute the same tasks thousands of times every day - Take months to wrestle with brittle RPA/playwright scripts that constantly break. Only a handful of companies can afford engineers dedicated to building and maintaining these automations. That’s why we built Optexity. With Optexity, you just record your workflow once and we generate a production-ready automation with an API endpoint that you can run again and again. Unlike traditional RPA or Playwright scripts, Optexity is: - Self-healing - adapts to the changing UIs and processes - 3x faster and 10x more cost-effective than pure AI-based tools like Comet, BrowserUse, or OpenAI Operator - 100% reliable Today, developers are using Optexity to automate their workflows in minutes, saving their teams hours of repetitive work. To our early customers: thank you for trusting us with your most important workflows. Your feedback has shaped the platform, and we’re building Optexity together with you. If you’re a developer or business team having manual workflows or brittle RPA, we’d love to hear from you. Signup on our website to request access or directly book a meeting with the founders. Anant Misra reposted thisI think this is one of the main reasons almost no “pre-AI” companies have been able to catch an AI tailwind, despite loads of product initiatives and even more marketing. And it isn’t well understood or discussed.Anant Misra reposted thisInteresting observation from Eric Vishria on how the top AI founders are building products completely opposite of the SaaS era: "One of the things that is really different in the AI world versus the SaaS world, is that in SaaS, over and over again, you had people who really understood the customer. And the problem. And then they understood a domain. They understood what the technology was more or less capable of. But it wasn't a real question of if you could build something or not. For example, take Salesforce, Workday, and ServiceNow. CRM existed before Salesforce. HR management existed before Workday. Same thing with ServiceNow. So in every case, Salesforce followed Siebel. Workday followed Peoplesoft. ServiceNow followed Peregrine and Remedy, and others. So they were just kind of, cloud SaaS versions of the prior generation product. They just understood the customers. They understood the problem. And they were just like, here's a better version. And that evolved a little bit over time in SaaS land. But that's what it is. And so product development in that way was done by people who really understood the customer and the problems. And then just took advantage of the next wave. And this is almost diametrically opposite of product development in the AI era. When I look at the teams that are having the most success today, they have intimate knowledge of the models. They are right on the frontier of understanding which models are better at what, and why, and when. And what they're going to be good at and what they're not going to be good at. And what they're spending their time on, is figuring out how do I apply this capability of this model to this domain or to this user. So they're actually working inside out or technology out, versus customer problem in. And of course, they understand the customer problem. And a lot of times they have firsthand knowledge of it. But they're really close to the metal and capability, and they're applying it. And I think this is a really different way to develop products than in SaaS. I started my career as a product manager a long time ago, and it's almost the complete opposite of everything you learned. "Listen to the customer, understand it, then bring it back to the engineering and product teams." If you did that right now, ask a bunch of customers what they want out of AI, and you brought it back, for the most part, it may not be possible today with today's technology. Whereas the teams that are winning right now really understand the technology and are applying it out. And so I think this reversal matters. I think it's a big difference in terms of how companies are getting built. And maybe even the types of entrepreneurs that will be successful." Anant Misra reposted thisAnant Misra reposted thisIIT alumni are among the top producers of unicorn companies. In fact, they rank among the top four universities globally for producing unicorns. At Foundation Capital we’ve had the privilege of backing IIT founders behind companies like Cohesity, Turing, Eightfold, Ikigai, Coefficient, Fortanix and Skyflow. A year ago, we launched IIT Build, an early-stage accelerator purpose-built to support IIT alumni as they start and scale their companies. Since then, we’ve backed over 50 IIT founders and are building one of the largest and most active IIT founder communities in the Bay Area. Good news: we’re always recruiting for our next cohort. Applications are open. Apply here: https://lnkd.in/grMmdU6G

Himanshu brings nearly three decades of leadership across AI, data, enterprise software, and financial services, with deep experience helping organizations turn new technology into meaningful business outcomes. He’s joining at a pivotal time, as more enterprises move from exploring AI to building with it in meaningful, lasting ways. I’m thrilled to have his leadership on board as we continue scaling globally and helping the world’s most innovative organizations put AI to work. Welcome to Glean, Himanshu.Anant Misra reacted on thisWelcome Himanshu Nautiyal as our Global Field CTO 🎉 Himanshu brings nearly 30 years of experience across AI, data, enterprise software, and financial services, and a deep understanding of what it takes to help organizations turn big technology bets into real-world impact. When asked what excites him most about joining Glean, he said: “Glean is tackling a defining challenge of modern work: helping organizations discover and maintain coherence and context in an increasingly fragmented landscape of systems, data, applications, models, and AI agents.” As more enterprises move from experimenting with AI to putting it to work across their business, we’re excited to have Himanshu helping lead that next chapter. 🙌 Welcome to Glean, Himanshu!

Anant Misra reacted on thisAnant Misra reacted on thisBusy is the most convincing lie I know. The day I had the most meetings, the least got done. Not because the meetings were useless. Because nobody, including me, was clear on what each one was supposed to produce. We showed up. We talked. We left. Nothing moved. Then I started making free days. Some were my most productive weeks. Some were a spectacular waste of silence. The difference had nothing to do with how much time I had. Turns out an empty calendar and a directionless one look identical by Friday. For PMs, the calendar fills itself. Standups. Syncs. Reviews. Stakeholder calls. We optimise for presence, not outcome. And because everyone else is in the same meetings, nobody notices that nothing moved. The fix isn't fewer meetings. It's two minutes before every block. I call it the clarity check: 1. What is the one thing that should be different when this ends? 2. Who owns the outcome and do they know it? 3. What would I do with this time if this block didn't exist? 4. What does a bad version of this look like and how will I catch it in the first 10 minutes? 5. What am I not going to do during this block? That last one sounds obvious. It isn't. Most people skip it. Most people also wonder where their afternoon went. What's on your calendar this week that has no defined outcome?

Anant Misra reacted on thisAnant Misra reacted on thisAfter five remarkable years at FTI, it's time to build again. Over the last few years, I've had the privilege of building a new AI and digital transformation business alongside an exceptionally talented team. Together, we partnered with clients on their most complex challenges as they navigate the risks and opportunities created by the rapid evolution of AI. From open-pit mines in Indonesia to the startup ecosystem in São Paulo, and everywhere in between, it was intense, rewarding, and a lot of fun. There has never been a better time to move with speed, curiosity, and conviction. I'm looking forward to build in that environment. First, I'll be spending the summer diving with sharks. Distance exaggerates risk. Up close, things look different.

I spent 11 years at Flipkart. Nobody gave me a playbook for building in India. I had to write it myself. So that's what this series is. Not borrowed frameworks. Not translated case studies. The real thing, built from the ground up, for the market we actually live in. Every Tuesday, starting tomorrow. First five: Bharat vs India Discovery that works here Regulatory PM Why Indian PMs are more globally ready than they think Distribution after PMF And a lot more after that. India deserves its own playbook. Let's build it.
