    I created this 4,500 word overview to give people suffering from hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) an understanding of how soon a treatment may be found and the many challenges that stand between that day and today.

    While the words are mine, the article is really a collaboration between myself the five researchers who I interviewed since they were all intimately involved in its creation and in verifying the accuracy of its content as well as my interpretation of their work. It was…

    I created this 4,500 word overview to give people suffering from hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) an understanding of how soon a treatment may be found and the many challenges that stand between that day and today.

    While the words are mine, the article is really a collaboration between myself the five researchers who I interviewed since they were all intimately involved in its creation and in verifying the accuracy of its content as well as my interpretation of their work. It was also professionally copy edited by Stephanie Baker so very much a group effort.

    So far it has been very well received around the globe and translated into German and I feel it has achieved the goals I set for it from the outset.

    This is also my most recent research and writing project and may be some of my best work to date.
