By enrolling in this LD@learning course, you agreed to the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO)’s terms of use regarding access to and use of course content.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the course materials solely for personal learning as part of this LD@learning course. These materials include a combination of LDAO-owned content and publicly available resources shared under open access or platform-permitted use (e.g., embedded videos).
LDAO-owned materials are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used for any other purpose without express written permission from LDAO. Third-party resources remain the property of their respective creators and are subject to their own usage terms.

Terms of Use – Copyright & Licensing for LD@learning
By accessing and participating in any course offered through LD@learning, a program of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO), you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding the use of course materials.
1. License to Access and Use LD@learning Course Materials
You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use LD@learning course content solely for your own educational purposes as a registered participant. This includes access to instructional videos, readings, downloadable resources, assessments, discussion prompts, and embedded media (“Materials”).
This license:
- Permits access and personal learning only
- Does not allow reproduction, redistribution, or use of the materials for training others, commercial gain, or public display
- Terminates automatically if these terms are violated or upon withdrawal from the LD@learning course
2. Ownership and Copyright
LD@learning course content includes two categories:
- LDAO-owned content: This includes original instructional materials, videos, guides, templates, and branded resources developed by or for the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario. These materials are protected under Canadian copyright and intellectual property law. They may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without express written permission.
- Public or third-party content: This includes resources such as publicly available YouTube videos, licensed articles, or government publications. These are used under open access or platform-permitted use. They remain the intellectual property of their original creators and are subject to their own terms of use. Users are expected to respect any restrictions or attribution requirements stated by the original sources.
3. Intellectual Property Protections
All branding, instructional frameworks, course design, and presentation formats used within LD@learning are the property of LDAO or are used with explicit permission. You may not create derivative works, reuse branding, or redistribute instructional designs without prior written consent.
4. Breach of Terms
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or sharing of LD@learning course materials may result in:
- Immediate termination of course access
- Further action including legal remedies, if applicable
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Refund & Cancellation Policy — LD@learning

We want you to have a great learning experience. Please review the key points below before you buy.
- All sales of digital courses are final. Once payment is processed and access is granted, we don’t normally offer refunds.
- If something goes wrong, tell us right away. For technical problems or accidental duplicate payments, please use our Support Form. We’ll respond within 5 business days and may offer a credit, an alternate course, or a refund in limited situations.
- Chargebacks. If a chargeback is filed, we’ll temporarily pause access while we sort it out. For individual purchases, we try to resolve issues without further action. For larger institutional purchases, we may seek to recover amounts if needed.
- Course updates. We occasionally update or retire course materials to keep things current. Changes usually don’t result in refunds.
- Legal. This policy is governed by Ontario law. The policy shown at the time you purchase is the one that applies.
