Leadership Update: Kingston WritersFest
Kingston WritersFest announces the appointment of Bruce Geddes as Festival Director, effective immediately.
A novelist, journalist, and nonprofit leader, Bruce brings a strong blend of creative, financial and organizational experience. Since relocating to Kingston four years ago, he has been an active member of the local arts community including serving in leadership roles at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning.
Bruce succeeds Krista Foss who has stepped down from the role for personal reasons. The Board accepted her resignation with regret and thanks her for her contributions in supporting the Festival’s momentum toward 2026.
