Giving Back

WE’RE PAYING IT FORWARD AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE

To those whom much is given, much is expected. Over the years, we’ve been blessed to grow our company from a one-man team to a full roster of talented creatives.

We attribute much of our success to our clients’ contributions and referrals. We’re truly grateful for their goodwill, and it’s something we never take for granted.

We Take Charge for Worthy Causes

KickCharge Creative is proud to lead a “pay it forward” community service program in which we dedicate our time to pro bono or reduced-rate work for some very deserving organizations.

For our first pro bono project, we partnered with The Luca John Foundation. This New Jersey-based charity is committed to raising awareness and finding a cure for skeletal dysplasia, a largely unknown but heartbreaking disease diagnosed in newborns. We were honored to help the kind and hardworking people of The Luca John Foundation continue their mission by providing them with a logo, website, business cards and marketing advice.

A Giveaway That Gives Back

In 2024, KickCharge Creative hosted their first-ever Kick It Forward Contest. Kick It Forward was created to support home service companies across the nation that are active in their communities and that prioritize giving back—by giving them a chance to win a FREE rebranding package valued at over $40,000. Whether they were a longstanding company or a startup, the contest leveled the playing field and gave businesses of all sizes the opportunity to score a killer new brand.

After receiving an impressive number of deserving entries, the inaugural winner was Service Plus Garage Doors of Seymour, TN. Their team is an incredible part of the community—raffling off gift baskets, collecting donations for Seymour Community Day, hosting local events and so much more.

The KickCharge Creative team is thrilled to see Service Plus Garage Doors thriving post-rebrand, and we’re proud to keep the spirit of giving back going strong.

“After getting the diagnosis, we realized how important it is to make the most of the time we have with our boys,” the couple explains on the foundation’s website. “Every minute is precious and we believe every Duchenne family should have what they need to live life to its fullest in spite of the difficulties of DMD.”

When the team at KickCharge Creative learned about this family and its commitment to giving back, we were awe-inspired! And we wanted to give back, too! So we designed My DMD Hero’s vehicle wrap—at no charge. It’s the least we could do.

Parent to Parent Is Making a Difference—
One Patient at a Time

Maybe you’re familiar with the story of the young child on the beach who, as he’s throwing starfish back into the ocean before the tide goes out, is told he can’t possibly make a difference—given the endless miles of beach and the countless starfish that need to be rescued. Instead of giving up, the boy picks up yet another starfish, tosses it out to sea and says: “I made a difference for that one.”

This story is a powerful reminder that every life matters, which is why our friends at Parent to Parent Addiction Services chose the starfish as a symbol of the organization’s mission. The Warren County, NJ,-based group works tirelessly to help those struggling with substance abuse find treatment options.

But Parent to Parent doesn’t stop there. It also provides support to grieving parents who have lost children to addiction as well as long-term services to recovering addicts and their families.

We were proud and honored to design Parent to Parent’s logo and the vehicle wrap for the van that the organization uses to transport patients to treatment.

Our ‘Drive’ to Support Our Community Is Strong

Good corporate citizens look for ways to make the communities in which they’re located better places to work, live and grow. These efforts can be accomplished in a number of ways—both large and small.

At KickCharge Creative, we’re proud to call Washington Township, NJ, our home. As a member of this community, we take our role as a good corporate citizen very seriously. Throughout our 25-year (and counting) lifetime here, we have found many different ways to give back, including providing our services free of charge or donating to nonprofit agencies, the local police department and youth sports groups.

Another fun and rewarding way we have chosen to give back is through holiday toy drives and other charitable events. During the holiday season, we support local holiday gift giving efforts for those in need.

Over the last ten years, we have donated toys and gift cards to the Washington Emergency Squad and the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) of Warren County.

We know that giving back has made our community stronger. But, it’s also made our team stronger (and happier), too!
