Balraj Singh Khara – British Professional Super Middleweight Boxer
Balraj Singh Khara is a British professional boxer competing in the super middleweight division. Born on 17 September 1995 in Chichester, West Sussex, and raised in Feltham, West London, Khara proudly represents the British South Asian community in sport. Of Punjabi Sikh heritage, he began his combat sports journey in karate before transitioning to kickboxing at 16 and later to boxing at 21.
Khara made his professional debut on 27 March 2022 at York Hall, Bethnal Green, defeating Frane Radnic. Trained by John Holland and managed by Steve Goodwin, he has built a professional record of 8 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. Known for his aggressive style and technical skill, his most notable victory came in March 2025 with a first-round knockout in under 90 seconds against Ed Chattey.
Outside the ring, Khara is dedicated to community work. He volunteers at Hanworth Youth Centre, mentoring young people, and coaches at Ivybridge Boxing Club in Isleworth.
